Professional Experience

Consulting Analyst

DeltaTerra Investments | January 2026 – June 2026

[Climate risk hedge fund] Research, thesis generation, trade design.

Rock Summer Fellow

Harvard University | June 2025 – August 2025

[Entrepreneurship fellowship] Testing theses in AI for grid planning, cooling for labor, and grid undergrounding.

Engineer

VEIR | July 2022 – July 2024

[Superconducting power transmission] Responsible for design of all superconducting components (published) and selection of other cable core materials: COMSOL, Python. Contributed to the techno-economic model and to industry publications. Led VEIR's ARPA-E project and presented to John Podesta. ARPA-E reviewer. The company scaled from 14 to 60 during my tenure.

Consulting Analyst

Cambium Capital | December 2021 – July 2022

[Seed/Series A investment, computing hardware] Wrote several investment memos (~20 pages each) and decks on completed and prospective investments. FPGA and optical comb background research.

Student Researcher

Princeton Zero-Carbon Energy Research and Optimization Lab | October 2021 – May 2022

[Cleantech project finance] Grid-scale cost modeling of low-carbon natural gas plants for ARPA-E (FLECCS program) with Princeton/MITei's GenX model; Julia.

Investment Intern

Tsinghua Venture Capital (TSVC) | Remote | June 2021 – August 2021

[Seed/Series A investment (~USD150M Fund V), sector agnostic] Sourcing, due diligence, and AR sector research.

Computational Physics Intern

Commonwealth Fusion Systems (MIT) | December 2020 – May 2021

[Nuclear energy] Pre/post-processing of α radiation codes on NERSC (Cori Supercomputer): Python. α particles (helium nuclei), products of the fusion reaction, are a primary radiative load inside the reactor, dictating wall design.

Parallelized electromagnet simulation/analysis codes. Magnet design is Commonwealth's differentiating factor: high-temperature superconductors → higher magnetic field → smaller, cheaper reactor.

Software and Business Development Intern

BrightInsight | Remote | June 2020 – December 2020

[Compliant medical software] Mobile SDK development; identified SDK features to outsource and facilitated negotiations; produced medical device compliance documentation (JAMA), project structures (JIRA), and market research stacks. BrightInsight scaled from 80 to 200 employees and raised a $101M Series C; learned via frequent discussions with C level.

Engineering and Strategy Intern

Hesai Photonics | Shanghai, China | June 2019 – August 2019

[Autonomous vehicle sensors] Improved rain and retroreflector (road sign) performance of thousands of LIDAR units via SDK development.

Prepared market/strategy decks on the autonomous vehicle industry: Tesla's strategy, competition posed by image processing companies, and methods of integration into Baidu Apollo, among others.

Composites Intern

Carbon Fibre Technology | Thessaloniki, Greece | June 2018 – August 2018

[UAS] Aided in computer modeling and production of a seven-meter, carbon fiber and Kevlar blended-body UAV (see photograph).

Modeling Intern

NASA Langley Research Center | Hampton, VA | June 2016 – July 2016

Wrote MATLAB scripts to calculate optimal (predominantly quietest) overland flight paths from atmospheric data for low-boom supersonic aircraft, in a joint project with Lockheed Martin Skunk Works (X-59).
